First Lady Pamela Hawkins, affectionately known as Lady Hawkins
is the middle child of five children born to Neely Mosley and the late Grady Puryear. She accepted the Lord as her personal savior in 1983. Lady Hawkins a native of Decatur, Alabama whereby she received her H.S. Diploma from Austin High School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa (Roll Tide Nation), for a planned career in law. Her plans were altered after moving quickly up the corporate ladder with Bank of America where she currently serves as Vice President of Product Management. For nearly 20 years, Lady Hawkins has supported many areas of Bank of America including Retail, Wholesale and Corresponding Lending and received a host of awards for Leadership and Service.
Lady Hawkins has also been blessed with the gift of teaching, playing an active role in the North Fulton County School System where she volunteers her time to assist teachers and children. She has also served in several teaching roles in church including Vacation Bible School Teacher, Sunday School Teacher as well as Children Church Teacher. Train a child the way they should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6) . Lady Hawkins leads the Women of Faith Ministry by example and understands the calling on her life which is to glorify the Lord while supporting her husband and family, educating and motivating children; speaking into the lives of the women, and the VOF family to fulfill God’s purpose.
She has received several awards, including the 2016 President Barack Obama Lifetime Achievement Award.
Lady Hawkins attributes one of her greatest joys to marrying her best friend, Bishop Gary Hawkins Sr., a man of God and Bishop of Voices of Faith Ministries. Together the Lord has blessed this dynamic duo with five sons, Gary Jr., Kalen, Dwight, Brandon and Garrison.
