Bishop Gary Hawkins Sr. is the founding pastor of Voices of Faith Ministries and Overseer of five Voices of Faith locations – Stone Mountain, Conyers, Hampton, and Lawrenceville Georgia and one location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Voices of Faith has seen its membership grow from seventy-five to more than fourteen-thousand members in only seventeen years and has been recognized by Church Growth Magazine as the twenty-fifth fastest growing church in America. For the past eight years, Outreach Magazine has named Voices of Faith as one of the top 100 largest and fastest-growing churches in America.

Bishop Hawkins served as a host, as well, appeared as a regular guest on the TBN Praise the Lord broadcast. He has authored eleven life changing books. In addition to his dynamic style of preaching a simplistic Word, Bishop Hawkins is known for his “Marketing Your Church for Growth” leadership conference, which has now become a marketing tour. A plethora of pastors have sent testimonies of how his out-of-the-box approach to ministry has impacted them for kingdom growth.
He empowers pastors, leaders and entrepreneurs by teaching biblical principles that push them into another dimension of kingdom building. Out of his passion for reaching God’s people, he birthed the Eagles Nest Ministry, through which he serves as a spiritual father and mentor to a great number of senior pastors.
Bishop Hawkins holds a Master’s Degree in Theology from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia. Bishop Hawkins received a Master’s Degree in Finance from National University, San Diego, California and his Bachelor’s Degree from Southern University, his native town, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Bishop Hawkins has received a great number of accolades and acknowledgements for his work in ministry and for the community, including the President Barack Obama 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2017 National Community Service Humanitarian Award.
